Developer Day
Developer Day is designed to help you get the most out of the Solid Edge API. If you are looking to automate tasks and improve the productivity of your design team or create your own Solid Edge Apps, these classes will put you on the right track. Last year, we had many requests for more hands-on training for Solid Edge Developer Day. We are excited to be doing just that for 2013! To get the most out of these hands-on classes, you will need to bring a laptop with both Solid Edge ST5 and Visual Studio installed (see below for the exact specs and download information).
Below is the agenda for the classes and hands-on sessions. We will run two separate tracks based on your experience. Customers, VARs, and Technology partners are all welcome to attend.

Minimum Hardware Requirements
- 1.6 GHz or faster processor
- 4 GB of RAM (2.0 GB if running on a virtual machine)
- 5 GB of available hard disk space
- 7200 RPM hard disk drive
- DirectX 9-capable video card running at 1024 x 768 or higher display resolution
- 64-bit (x64)
Minimum Software Requirement
- Visual Studio 2010 Express or Visual Studio 2012 Express. If your laptop does not have a license for these products, you can download an express version from: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/eng/products/visual-studio-express-for-windows-desktop
- Solid Edge ST5 (32-Bit or 64-Bit). If your laptop does not have a license for this version, you can download the trial version here. Please note, this must be done within 45 days of the class.
